Remington

Shown is a Remington model 7 in a 6mm calibur that has never been fired. The gunstock, made from fiddleback maple and finished whth Birchwood Casey's Tru-Oil took nearly 3 months to complete. I no longer build complete stocks, however I would be honered to checker or carve a scene on your existing stock.

This is a close up of the pistol grip carving on the same 6mm rifle.

Mauser Action Custom

I made this rifle with a fancy grade of Walnut and did the hand carving. This is a shot of the oakleaf design used on the gun.

Side by Side

This turned out to be a really nice carving. It is a dog and quail scene on the buttstock of a very fine double shotgun. The customer wanted a unique quail scene so I drew several scenes for him to choose from. He was real happy with the end result.
